a trek within a spiral dream
leads to enchanted ground
where words flow from silver stream
and music makes no sound
she finds a cache of golden scrolls
inside a box of magick
and sparkling ink in sapphire bowls
but finds no pen, 'tis tragic
undaunted, the girl, works her charms
and rhymes a little spell
she spins sunwise with upraised arms
and the pen from stars, it fell
she gathered scrolls from the cache
the pen and sparkling ink,
ran to the mountain, in a mad dash
and her eye three times did blink
she conjoured up a book of shadow
that she filled with light
with the pen and ink, don't you know
her every word takes flight
leads to enchanted ground
where words flow from silver stream
and music makes no sound
she finds a cache of golden scrolls
inside a box of magick
and sparkling ink in sapphire bowls
but finds no pen, 'tis tragic
undaunted, the girl, works her charms
and rhymes a little spell
she spins sunwise with upraised arms
and the pen from stars, it fell
she gathered scrolls from the cache
the pen and sparkling ink,
ran to the mountain, in a mad dash
and her eye three times did blink
she conjoured up a book of shadow
that she filled with light
with the pen and ink, don't you know
her every word takes flight

The rhyming and flow in this poem is excellent. The whole poem is just so smooth, which isn't easy to achieve. The imagery is very artsy and brilliant. All-in-all, a great poem!

I know it must be really good. It's way over my head. Come on over and read it to me a couple of times. Maybe that will help. If not, you can sit in my lap and whisper it in my ear. If that doesn't work, we'll have to think of something drastic.
