There once was a red fox who lived in a brown box.
He wore blue socks when walking on grey rocks,
To get to his brown box that was surrounded by pink phlox.
In his brown box he would play with striped blocks.
Outside he played, near the water, on the white docks.
One day he got chicken pox and had to stay in his brown box.
Day after day he listened to the tick tock of his yellow clocks,
Playing with his striped blocks and eating beans with ham hocks.
Poor little red fox was facing some rather hard knocks,
While confined to his brown box surrounded by pink phlox.
His green yard was near the blue water with the white docks,
Where played several black and white checkered hens and cocks.

I just love your rhyme scheme, Wonderfully detailed and very nice flow of works. Love the fox, they are beautiful creatures. It was a pleasure to read.
