The sun claps
all the world awake
with soft sounds
a baby's breathing
the cat's plaintive
hunger cry
No one's talking
yet I know
all is right
with cereal pouring
softly and the newspaper
speaking silent words
Your smile
and loving eyes
make no sound
when cast my way
and the kiss I give you
is a quiet blessing
Soft sounds abounding
cherish them...
abide in love.

Beautifully written!
The soft sounds of morning are so profoundly beautiful in this poem.
A powerful write filled with soft touches that make me very happy to contemplate.
