Malaysia, Truly Asia

One country,
One nation,
One soul and one body,
We are the people of Malaysia,
We are one big family,
Different but we love each other.

There are Indians,
Chinese and Muslims
In this country,
There are even British,
Australians, Russians and Americans.

You may think we hate each other,
You may think we throw bombs at each other,
You may think we kill each other
But we are actually nice to one another.

The Muslims in this country
Love the Chinese and the Indians,
In fact they gave us freedom of religions
And they respect our cultures and what we celebrate
Like Deepavali and Chinese New Year.

The British and The Americans here
Mix with us,
They even eat with us,
They'd laugh with us, joke with us,
We treat each other like equals,
We don't see colour,
In fact some of the British kids
Or American kids I know
Listen to Chinese songs.

The Russians and the Australians
Wow they love Malaysia,
They'd join events,
They'd participate in celebrations
Like Malaysia's Independence Day,
They're always the life of a party,
You should see their faces
When they're in the malls doing
Some shopping and hanging out
With their friends,
They look relaxed and happy.

This country has everything,
From really cool theme parks
To breathtaking islands,
To luxurious and beautiful hotels,
To cinemas, to the malls,
To latest brands of fashion
And electronical items,
To American, Italian and so many
Other types of food,
To the night markets that
Sells a lot of drinks, food and clothes
At very cheap prices.

If you could see
The Petronas Twin Towers,
You will love it,
I'll have the picture
On my author's notes,
So that one day
Some of you on allpoetry
Could come and visit Malaysia.
