ah i like this one Don ..the juxtaposition of sunset and autumn bring to mind an image of the sun disapearing until spring while the yellow offers hope of sunshine ~col

The soft yellow of its petals
    gives me peace.

(yellow flowers especially yellow roses are my favourite).

    Thank you, Maria

This one also took my breath away. The rose is practically glowing in that sunset hour, you can almost see the vibrations of the light reflected off the petals. Beautiful piece. Lily

I love the title. There is something about the image of a sunset rose that is both sad and yet hopeful at the same time. The final warm glow before the descent into night. Beautifully done as always. I've had a really crappy day and this poem made me feel a bit better in some strange small comforting way.

Well, not much I can say about this piece, well, except that it was lovely, as always, and what else would you write, crap? Probably, but, I doubt it.

Wow that's pretty. I so enjoy your photokus. I get to please almost all my senses at once, although I can almost smell it too. Very good Monk! Impressed I am. Great one, as per usual.
