A weakened soul
Run
Hide
Scream
From apparitions
Lingering to haunt you again

You say so much in so few words. I look forward to see more of your work.

For such a short piece there is a lot of passion and hopeless emotion within. It has a real air of helplessness and torture without escape. I really enjoyed reading it.
Thank you for commenting on my poem by the way

brief yet so profound, it moves one towards those medical days before numbing agents and the defined torture you're describing. Well done!

Images that strike terror in the mind, causing one to seek refuge as quickly as possible. Nicely done and thanks for entering into the contest.
Be well and be blessed,
