I have an AP granddaughter
who'd like someone to love;
so if I could, I'd find that man
who'd make her wish come true.
He'd be a handsome fellow
with laughter and much joy;
he'd give her all she wanted
help make her life content.
I'd wrap him in bright paper
in a box on her front step;
when she opened up the door
she'd wonder what was there.
He'd jump right up and kiss her
say he'd been sent from a friend;
to make this Christmas special
as well as the next years too.
