Quick we are to spit the venom
and just as quickly do our hearts break
bleeding with the pain more intensely than the words spoken.
If God, in His love and wisdom
forgives the most evil of deeds
just put yours in His care;
release is immediate.
Your pain and guilt He holds.
Through Him we are eternal; pardoned.
None can do it alone.

This is a wonderful piece, it really speaks to some fundamental truths. This was so beautifully stated, "Your pain and guilt He holds.
Through Him we are eternal; pardoned.
None can do it alone." Congratulations!

God knows the sincerity of my heart. He also knows that I did not set out to hurt, and anger was at the forefront. Pain was also a factor, I felt hurt and so I hurt back. I know that when we set out in a vengeful manner and we are humans of consciousness, the after thought is what causes those feelings of guilt and shame. My plan is not to hold onto those ill feelings for very long. When the time is right, healing will spring forth. Thank you for these wise words of poetry. I wish you well in this contest.
Much Love ♥
