Colors

When I was in preschool
My teacher hung up a huge sheet of white paper
On the wall.
Then she put out different colors of paint
Dipping our hands in it
Stamping our handprint on the page
it was cool that the colors were all different.
I mean, if they were all red,
or orange,
it would be boring to look at.
The different colors made an amazing painting.
So how come
When others are different.
When they choose to be the purple in a world of yellow,
why are they laughed at
Why don't people like them?
If we were all the same
Life would be dull
We might as well take one kid's hand
and stamped the whole page with the same shaped hand
and the same color.

    Good job!

We might as well have just taken on kid's hand
    typo!
I don't usually pick on typos but this one stopped the flow of the poem.

I think you should work not making everything complete sentences so it is more flowing and such.

Nice poem overall, keep it up
