I'd take back the depth of commercialism
Where ingratitude breeds
Where debts mountain up high
And parents hearts bleed
I'd give in return love and longevity
Peace and goodwill
And would bring back respect
And disciple instill
Show goodwill to all
Make opinions count through
It would help globall warming
With less packaging too
I'd give childless couples a chance
For too share
In homing a child
Whose home has no care
Then share poetry word
To reach those that I can't
By those here know how
And don't mind a chant
And the others here still
Who stand up tor a cause
Who through most of their strife
Get meagre applause
For those I've forgot
Merry Christmas to You
May the joys of the world
Come to bring New Year through!
