in the dark, coming home from the barns.
I stumble and lose my way.
With only this lamp light as my guide.
I hear the wolves howl, the darkness envelopes me.
As i turn and turn,
Praying that i will find my way home,
Praying that God, Himself, will show me the way back.
As i see a different light glow in the distance.
not knowing if it may be someone to search for me.
Or if it is something unworldly...
It speaks to me of things, not known to me.
Of times of utter cruelity.
and how it will not rest until all is known.
It appears as an angel of God,
With its white apron flowing, and white eagle like wings.
But it's eyes speak that it doesn't come from the Heavens above.
But from the Hells of the past.
