As candles burn low, on Christmas Eve night
And treetops illuminate snowfilled moonlight
I sit in the shadows of wintery hue
and ponder on what I would wish to give you.
star from the heavens to help guide your way
beam from the sunlight to brighten your day
handfuls of moondust to scatter around
kisses from angels to help when youre down
These are the Christmas gifts I ask for you
In hopes that your happiness lasts all year through.
The candles extinguished, peace through the land
Adored, Merry Christmas, my wish is at hand.

you put the name in the right place. This was a very pretty poem, it would make a beautiful lulabye if you found the right music to put to it. Thanks for entering my contest. Sorry it's taking me so long to judge.
