Fearful of what will happen next
Who's broken body I will find
Laying lifless on the floor
They fought the battle
And won
But in the end
They lost the war
And their lives
To something so destructive
Author notes
I started this with no idea where it was headed. But I started thinking of all the poeple who have died from cancer and what their families felt. I have never lost anyone to cancer, but I do know someone who did.

this is good. you thought about people who have/had diseases and their families. my cousin has CF and we were worried for her many times when she was in the hospital. but she's ok now.
