Love you believe is elusive when your want is so great.
Take a deep breath and look all around.
Love is in the touch of a raindrop on lashes.
Love is the whisper of the wind in your ear.
Love is in the taste of sweet strawberries picked fresh from a field.
Love is the smell of fresh cut grass in the morning dew.
Love is feeling, that resides deep within.
Those electric flashes that calls your heart to respond,
where no words are needed, love is still found.

I really liked how you used the senses as a way to tackle on the difficfult and maybe even impossible task of describing love. However, all of your descriptions seemed to suggest a different view on love than how you described it in the beginning and end. For instance "love is in the touch of raindrop on lashes" suggests to me that love lasts only for a moment- it touches then drips off, and "whisper of the wind in your ear" suggest the same thing- that love breezes by for a moment then leaves. I think that this is an interesting take on love too, but maybe you entertain the idea of making the two ideas more congruent? If I misinterpreted the poem, do tell me.

Love is love...
though fleeting in all these senses, is not time fleeting and you must embrace love in every way and in every moment? I believe each moment of love though whatever means will be a different view every time. None is ever the same. I am blessed for your remarks and what you take from this is up to you, personally. I really enjoyed all the different perceptions of love. I find we can be so narrow minded in that sense, but this was refreshing different!
