Woe is man
without woman,
the silk purse
for the thick measure
of his manhood,
the deposits of his
spent love,
the tender side
to his five o'clock shadow,
the voice of sanity
against his tempered rage,
the X chromosone,
X-rated at times
most often extrodinary,
exquisite lips excite,
enticing eyes delight,
The Y chromosone says it all,
"Why else would men exist
except for women?"

This poem is a pearl among entries in this contest that are
- shall we say – not pearls. VERY good. It was good enough
that I couldn’t pick a favorite part.

I really liked how short and concise this was... the ending with the Y/why was brilliant! This was a beautiful write. Thanks for entering it in the contest and the pleasure of the read.
-
great write, I especially like the purse/ deposit metaphor and ending Y "why"...very clever.
good luck in this contest
