Cool and sweet,
sliding down my throat
on this scorching day.
So many flavours.
Which will my mouth
appreciate more?
Creamy, soothing vanilla,
or that sensual tang
that only chocolate
can mesmerise.
I have a predilection lately
for a watermelon sorbet,
tingling my tonsils,
slipping elegantly
down a parched throat.
Yet nothing compares
to savouring
your salty, zestful
essence,
as my tongue dances
across your skin
in morsels
of pure pleasure.
