Cowgirl

I know I look a mess
But I proved I was the best
I stayed on for 8 seconds, which was longer than the rest.

Yes I know it’s not a woman’s world
And I know it’s really rough
But I’m no powder puff you see, and I’ve proved I’ve got the stuff.

I made look battered, beaten and bruised
And I look a little worse for wear.
But I’m still all woman deep inside, I just need to brush my hair.

this is great. I really like the rhyme scheme as well as your take on the picture. It's called Arkee...and I don't really know what the artist intended. This was great.

haven't seen the prompt yet but i love this poem. I always wanted to rodeo. It also makes me think of that crazy horse I had, she love to try to knock me off. Thanks for making me smile tonight. Leanne's going to love this one.
