Royal moon and crimson seas
a far off place, it calls to me
"Come back to us" say fairies and elves
"back to us, where dreams do dwell."
Amber mountains and fuchsia skies
"Here with us there are no lies"
Time well spent in a dream so fair
where dewdrops taste of luscious pears
I'm drawn in, like moth to flame
I close my eyes and dream the same
Of turquoise clouds and waterfalls
rainbow grass and kingdom halls
They take my hand and lead me down
where fears and sorrows are sure to drown
From darkness into blinding light
they whisper to me, "Every thing's alright"
"Don't be afraid to loose yourself!"
says to me a little elf
I look around in wonder and awe
here there is no wrong or flaw

Thank you for entering my contest.
I really do adore the colorful word/imagery and simile usages - It painted a perfect picture in my mind. It was a bit of a spin on the usual setting, I think, being more specific of the surrounding rather than the actual Faeries, which is refreshing.
I do feel a bit 'stuck' though...trapped in a moment, like a picture, opposed to having some 'flesh', and real substance, and almost significance, as if there was an intriguing story. Which is fine, I'm just saying...
Wonderful
