Sleeping beauty

She's 5'2

with the wings of a pixie

[and the heart of a leopard]

Sand slips through her fingers

as she pains her soul

and suffocates ideas

turning rules into illusions

and dreams into fears

Playing the flute
locked into a titanium closet

Not all that cracked up to be.

having icicles for eyelashes

blowing bubbles

and wondering how long you'll be around for

The only glamour this sleeping beauty has;
is tattooed on her pre-made gravestone

Author notes

i was bored

sooo this was off the top of my head

like it?

wow this is pretty good, my favorite is the second stanza.
    Sand slips through her fingers

    as she pains her soul

    and suffocates ideas

    turning rules into illusions

    and dreams into fears
that part is genius to me.
    GREAT JOB.
