She only ever wore black, except for her shoes
They were either pink, yellow or blue
How could I describe Satine?
Well she lived off coffee and cigarettes
I suppose that's why she was so lean
She was a magnetic figure
People were drawn to her,
but she could also be very mean
Satine was all dirty blonde hair and attitude
When she went out- it was to be SEEN!
She only ever smoked marlboro,
she always had a cigarette in hand,
she'd say "without it I feel bland"
I remember going to her apartment on the upper east side
she whispered "Davie I'm gonna take you on a ride"-
and Satine never lied
We went on a binge, it was all champagne and cocaine
Satine was very privelledged, she always had cash,
but what can I say she acted like trash.
Satine was very tormented, and for her the torment never relented
She was this beautiful creature, but she was crazy
I remember trying to help her and she screamed "Davie lemme be"
Satine was just one big CONTRADICTION!
A poor little rich girl......
She only ever wore black, except for her shoes
They were either pink, yellow or blue
