In and out,
the breath of an angel.
I see the cloud of dust around,
falling like the star of faith.
Pushed out in a moment,
crammed in a tiny space.
Flickered emotions,
a time of recluse and happiness.
Bright lights in front of my eyes,
a speeding bullet in my face.
Temptation to say yes,
by nothing to pursue.
I'm lost,
but I breath the breath of an angel.
The danger to his life has gone away,
for my breath is exhaled once more.

Honestly, and admittedly I am a twisted individual...this poem speaks to me of the Holocaust and of the gas chambers...
~I see the cloud of dust around,
falling like the star of faith.~
the "star of faith" made me think of the star of David.
~a speeding bullet in my face.~
made me think of firing squads.

This is an interesting piece, and a curious take on the prompt. I must admit that though I have some (very) vague ideas on its subject I have nothing concrete. Nevertheless this was a lovely read. Thank you
