Wonderful!, but hope it wont stay too long!
Woah!!! Trees push for bareness, and so kind of autumn. I guess its good isnt it Joy that the winter is late, I hope it doesnt stay longer though when it is time for it to go! Wonderful Haiku, well worded. Like the background too.
Hope all is well ur side Joy, sorry have been away for too long, but I will always come around and read from ur pages as it is always worth it and you know that. I have always loved ur style of writing. Truly!
Love and light,

Hi Mum. A good write. Good imagery and flow. Very true for us this year. Nice descriptives. Well done.

YES, IT IS!
Here also winter seems to be put on hold, every year the fall and winter seem to come later and there is no longer a spring but it goes right into summer.

Very nice indeed Joy! Personally I am rather glad that winter is one step behind, as the dark days play true havoc with me! As a counter-tactic this year I have begun going out and about with my camera and art things, and notebooks, to start producing a short AP winter poem collection - focusing on the wonders of the season!
I like the image of autumn harbouring warmth, fending-off the temptation to release a burden of leaves no doubt!
Good to see another familiar face is still on here; my visits aren't so frequent these days, but I am still around lol
Best wishes

Hallo, my friend. It's really good to hear from you again and I'm pleased you like this one. I've been off site nearly twice as much as on this year and have lost quite a lot of friends as a result. Am trying to catch up with them again but it takes time. Shall look forward very much to your AP winter collection.
lol too.

Oh how true this is, I look from my bedroom window and still see an ocean of green, yet it's November and the trees should be skeletal by now. Global warming has a lot to answer for, but it has its good points too, even if they are few. Thanks for sharing, love you always. Laura x
