Blistered, barren, war-torn Earth
with plumed black tendrils reaching sky.
Not a glimpse of love, nor mirth
can be found by mortal eye.
Death's rider: scarlet's servant
as serpent's venom to pallid flesh.
Silver haired, mock gallant
causes hatred with life to mesh.
Dante's evil brought to life, thawed by blood warmed steel.
Eternity of siphoned suffering from those who are too numb to feel.
