Silver - G.S. - A Baby Girl
A baby wrapped in pink, was handed to me. A tear stream down, is this really true. A baby girl now in my arms, for years of trying, brought only boys. A dream come true, your finally here. A beautiful girl, fitting the name we chose. A name I promised my Grandma, upon her death bed.

When my grandmother was dying, I told her I was pregnant she didn't know in her o.k. state. I was afraid to tell her I was again. But it had been six years since the last birth. I told her as she was dying it was hard for me but, I told her I was, and if it was a girl I was going to name it after here. But an Ultra sound a few months later proved to be a boy. I was devastated. Had postpartum depression bad first time too. My grandmother was gone and didn't get to meet this beautiful boy. 18 months later I became pregnant again. Ultra sound proved to be a Girl. The first in my family all my sister's and I have had boy's. My mom was happy with all them boys because she had all girls herself and one son. But it was time for a girl. The baby was name after my Grand mother her name was Bertie Lou ehh yucky weird name . Oh well unique. Any way Baby's name Bertie Grace. Grace being for the song that came on that night when my grandmother passed away, Amazing Grace.
