Spun

Conjuncture and time will make you
a little unsympathetic to the cause

Indifference has a way of turning your head
whiplash was commonplace after awhile

Spin, spun, twist, crackle lackle

I feel so much better now
freedom of speech and breathing comes easier

Kick up my feet, leave the dishes to sit
dinner not on the table at 5:00 on this night

Yeah life is good now.

Wow. so pleased to see gold on this piece.

"whiplash was commonplace after awhile" How well I know this feeling. My favorite line in this poem. Excellent.

Sometimes we just have to rid ourselves of whatever is weighing us down. Seems the; "Spin, spun, twist, crackle lackle" did it for you here. The daily regiment of what we must do can get tiresome. Good for you to finally get to breathe. A very original take o the prompt. Thanks for the entry. Good luck!

    Much Love ♥
