Let's pretend for today, I feel no pain.
That I can run freely with you through the rain.
The smile I wear, On my face is authentic.
Today will be, delightful, nonhectic.
No pills in my purse, for me to swallow.
My soul feels brilliant, apposed to hollow.
Enjoying my children, running and playing.
Splashing through puddles, heartily laughing.
Life is amazing, what a day my friend.
If only today..... wasn't only pretend.
