Ablazed

Each one's got a box.
Each one has a name inscribed
See the questions ticking
Hmmmmmmmm
Which is mine...?

Truly sorry love
That my dear
Ha, you'll never know

I've done this before
Took the tangiable
Hide it all inside

I've never done this before
Burned truckloads of belongings
Still can't forget you

It's cold and dark
Sit by those ashes
No such warmth

Now words
A limitless void
Between what was us.

Now the distance
Continously grows
Into sad silence

Please tell me what you think

SOmetimes no matter what you do you can't forget a certain someone. I've had people like that in my life before and I will continue to have them, As will all of us. Sometimes we choose to "burn" their belongings to try and help us forget, sometimes it works, but we can never burn our memories away. Like the last stanza sasys, the distance continues to grow, but there will always continue to be a distance and it will probably only grow sadder the longer it is... Depending. Thank you so much for sharing your words, thoughts, and experiences with all of us here.

I can't wait to see how this one ends. I'm intrigued by it so far and like I said just a second ago, can't wait to see how it ends.

bout time you write something new, I thought it was beautiful, especially the contradiction between the third and fourth stanza. The last stanza really reached out to me. I'd say the only flaw is the title "Unfinished" you're more creative then that c'mon get that little noggin working. Anyway I'm glad to see your writing again if you keep it up i'll keep commenting absolutely love your work.
