what part of me
what part of my life and time do you see?
Is it gentle, sensitive, warm with pleasure
Parting from the norm, partial to the regular
unorthodox chamber you frequent at your leisure
Perhaps it’s the warrior, that conquers your soul
passionate and forceful from eons untold
Is it both, a portion
a little of each.
Reserving a segment neither portion will reach
out to connect or reconnect to their bond
This you’ll never know
This you’ll never see
Through mask you never saw, Mask I secretly donned
Portions succumbs devouring memories of another
Forgetting emotions, feelings revealed by others
Will you cherish new thoughts?
Will you choose to place fault?
On the advocate between the balance and scales of my heart
Or arrive from the ending from the commencement at the start
But what part of my heart,
or my mind do you share?
Can it be the feminine portion sitting close as you stare?
Attracting your masculine thoughts, your desire, so clear?
Again the question asks,
what part do you share?
Surrendered to you so do you truly,
truly
care?

This is a very deep and heartfelt poem, this poem hits home, I can relate as I am sure that many can relate to it.

Willing to share even the
smallest part of your heart.
Do I get to keep and have it
under lock and key.
I can give you a part of me,
a tiny token of my affection.
Would you care?
If I wore my heart on my
sleeve, grab my hand,
it is yours to take,
the secret locked
beyond the door.
Do you have the key?
This is an excellent write, it is not often that I am so inspired by thw words of a poet, I had to get this down before a I lost it, thank you for sharing and keep them coming.
