With bowed head, silently, I cry;
with sorrowful spirit, I watched you die,
with lingering thoughts of our last goodbye -
you, reposed forevermore.
With longing spirit, I have wept
with the darkness as it crept,
with denial, I cannot accept
you, reposed forevermore.
With overwhelming sadness, I have mourned,
with roses shall your grave be adorned,
with stinging loss, my soul is scorned -
you, reposed forevermore.
With your requiem chant in my mind,
with pain and sorrow tormentingly entwined,
with every step, I come to remind
you, reposed forevermore.
With this agony, I take this knife,
with this instrument, I end my life,
with this blade, I end the strife -
us, reposed forevermore.
