It is calm but only for now
Soon the waves shall thrash against the shore
Rain will pound upon the ground
And wind shall beat relentlessly on everything
But now it is calm
Waves gently rock in the ocean
The sun streams down not a cloud to block its way
And the wind is nothing more than a breeze
But it is only the calm before the storm
As the water level rises waves shall crash into town
Rain from clouds above help flood the buildings
Wind rips trees off the ground and signs from their posts
But for now gray clouds on the horizon only hint of the disaster to come

This seems as you have written this when a hurricane was threatening to come ashore where you live?
If not, you have definately a good way of imagining that! I like the imagery again - well done!
Thanks for entering this poem as well!
