she slips through grasping fingers
with blatant disregard for
determination;
a spirit whose voice
cascades in gentle rhythm
and with intrinsic thought.
why does she flutter so carelessly away?
she's elusive, my muse,
with only selfish desires
for gratification and praise.
Author notes
Damn muse always running away...What more does she want from me?
