Compromise

I'm learning,
I'm not always right
I'm not always wrong.

I'm learning of the middle-ground
of two of us winning-
the victory of
understanding someone even when
they are so
doggone wrong.

I'm learning to be patient
when it's hardest
when I'm on the last straw
and I'm ready to fall apart.

I'm learning not to be a product
of my parents
not to raise my voice
or snap at the one
the one person that I care the most about.

I'm learning to live
and to love to live
with the one love I would give everything up for.

It's a growing experience to go through so many of life's stresses together! Even when it's tough, remember that love that will get you through it, and remember the best of the one you love!
