Ooh la la...
Am done for the day
The doorbell rings
And who do we have here?
Oh! There's 'em girls
One flashes a grin
Another smiles coyly
Both of 'em go
"Chicks or treats?"
Now tell me,
Where on earth
Do I go buyin' treats
In the middle of the night?
Livin' in a forest cabin
Ain't as easy
As one would suppose.
Both 'em girls look hungry
And poorly clad.
So I say,
"Who wouldn't want chicks
On a dark, stormy night?"
And take them in.
I seat 'em by the fireplace
Whip 'em up a delicious supper
And put 'em to bed
Under cozy quilts.
Can't let 'em go
In the middle of the night,
Alone amongst animals
And God knows what creatures
That lurk in the forest.
As I walk up to them,
For a goodnight peck,
They grin at each other
I don't know why.
God bless you girls!
Be gone at dawn
And don't you roam around town
Like the way you did tonight.
I tricked 'em girls
I said "chicks"
An' I gave 'em treats,
Now am off to bed
Ooh la la...

I would have given them treats instead of tricks myself. I think you did a splendid job giving them treats with a stylish side of trickery. I want to thank you for entering my "Chicks or Treats " contest.
