Fine lines almost unseen
I said to me, please don't bother
What's within my heart is pure need

Kind words meet harsh intentions
Followed by apologies
Though reasons still unmentioned
Fault is only brought back to me

The screaming so deeply embedded
In my brain seething
Lack of trust has all but beheaded
My lone body still breathing

Inside the turmoil continues on
Between me & the deeper me
I sing a beautiful dark song
With the hope that both of me will see
