Oh Family ! ....( Canadian Anthem)

Oh Family! With homes and gardens grand!

Pure blossom grows from the seeds in our hand.

Tiny toddlers grow as we watch them,

Their hearts beat strong and free!

Spread far and wide, Oh Family,

You mean so much to me.

Sometimes we will fight and disagree!

Oh Family, my love for you just grows.

Oh Family, my love for you just grows.

~not a Job as such but keeping a family together to me is a working ~ hope its exceptable

wrote to the sound of the Canadian national Anthem ...O Canada

O Canada! Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.
With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!
From far and wide, O Canada,
We stand on guard for thee.
God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee

I really enjoyed reading your piece. It took a differnt unique perspective, and although I wouldn't exactly classify raising a family as a JOB (most people don't like their jo it does entail a great amount of work, so your poem goes great with the prompt. Great use of the canadian anthem and the rhyming scheme was excellent. Overall great piece, thanks for entering our contest!!

Clever! I like it! I lived in Canada for five years. My son was born there. I remembered the tune and words to just the first two lines.
