I was told
they were pebbles.
"some pebbles" I thought;
looking at them,
askance.
Jumbled together
along the ocean shore;
covered in beach moss,
too big and heavy
for even a stormy tide
to move and dislodge
their green mantles.
You wouldn't want pebbles that size
in your raked Japanese garden,
would you?

I suppose as long as they were all the same size, it really wouldnt matter how big they are would it?
