I hope you're not still mad at me for that,

It's bad enough that you are mad at me,
Let alone across the lonely sea.

Why must you continue to push me away?
Why don't you understand that they hurt, the things that you do and say.

I know I'm just as guilty in this "HATE" game that you're playing,
But I'll still love you forever, and that goes without saying.

The intense bond that we once shared,
Was more than I could ask for, back then you really cared.

Was all that love I thought we shared just a hoax?
A show that you were just putting on for your people and folks?

Was I part of a bet, to see how long we would last?
Because if it was, I'll say good-bye, I'll make it quick and fast.

I've had this empty hole in me for the longest time,
You seemed to fill it, I was so happy to call you mine.

All those sweet, together moments, don't they mean anything to you?
Or do you just want to forget them, and start over with someone new?
