Driven away from our emerald home
to foreign shores made to roam
sandy shores and rocky cliffs
salty winds, stinging spray, tossing wooden skiffs
lonely lands with laiden tropic fruits, soaking rain
shining seas and sugar cane
golden sun
we forever on the run
never more to go back home to Éire's sweet green lands
banished by the Butchers hand, by Cromwells ruthless bloody gang
Please tell me what you think

Thanks for reading this
It sucks I don't seem to have the muse so I don't have points to promote stuff. I am happy you found it and glad you liked it!
