Santa lost his reindeer now what was he to do
when on the night of Christmas eve away from him they flew,
he knew not why they ran away from him that snowy night
now left there with just a sleigh, no way to take to flight.
Looking at Mrs Santa Claws eyes filled up with tears,
how was he meant to do this job that he had done for years?
the elf’s they came to see him and conjured up a plan
a sleigh would fly for him tonight and powered by a fan.
They took it to the factory where toys all year were made,
but then the chief elf he rebelled and said “we’ve not been paid“
now Santa promise faithfully that they would get their doe,
with double pay for all the elf’s that help his sleigh to go.
Ok they said and all agreed the sleigh it was prepared,
presents loaded all aboard so Christmas could be shared,
upon the rear a massive fan attached to make it fly
sending off old Santa Claws high up in the sky.
Christmas gifts around the world all got to their right places
enabling the Christmas cheer on smiling children’s faces,
Santa Claws returned back home his yearly job now done
how close it was that Christmas day was missed by everyone.
