I want to go
where the willows are -
time and again
their twisted arms
have accepted my praise.
In the moonlight,
the silvered water
ripples with anticipation.
Ancient and silent,
the loam gives me its
dark, warm thoughts,
and they bring me deep
into their shelter.
I want to go
where the nightingale sings
lullabies to the stars.

Oh, your words are certainly beautiful to read. I see nature in a new perspective after reading about it through your eyes

Elegant use of image, rhythm, sound, and line. The opening lines invite, the final lines resonate.
