Oh Pastel, sweet Pastel,
Thou art my muse.
You inspire me, you comfort me,
you maketh' me whole.
Thy words are like Angel's tears,
so pure, so gentle, so fragile.
Embrace my yearning heart.
Grant me just one night.
to hold thee, to love thee,
to feel thee near me.
To feel thy touch upon my skin,
is to send my senses reeling,
wanting, needing, knowing,
I must be one with thee.
Let me unlace thee, seduce thee,
consume thy passion.
To touch thee, explore thee,
make sweet love with thee.
Behold me, for I am spellbound
by thy beauty,
I am enthralled and captivated
by desire for thee,
sweet Pastel Moons.
Let me quell this longing
I hold for thee.
Let me show thee
my passion unbound,
for I am a slave to my heart's desire.
What say'eth you, dear Lady?

    Like every other poem I have read from you I am impressed nearly beyond description.
    The love you so elequantly profess in this poem leaves me feeling a surge of conflicting emotions. I am trapped within the beauty of it and within the longing of a love that seems surreal.
    Thanks for sharing this poem, it has sparked hope where I thought none could be found.

    a good poem, i am not a big fan of seeing modern day poets use the old language but i can see why people do like it for it can hold that air of love

    I am a sucker for poetry like this
    I loved this your first poem "Just one night" absolutely amazing. The feelings were strong in this poem. Your second poem my absolutely favorite lines were
    Thy words reflect me
    like some divine mirror to my soul.
    Would’st thou know me if I stood before thee in flesh?

    I could feel the emotion.

    and the third poem Immortal dreams was astounding.
    I loved the theme of reincarnation that was amazing. Great write. I will read the other poems when I am finished with the judging. Thank you for entering my contest.
