Does strength lie within confines
of this subfusc apparition,
reality reasoned from scant details;
the shade that hides guilty secrets
amongst its intricacies,
its subjectivity,
and power is layered deep
within horizon of void,
umbilical tied to point of creation;
a trailing after-birth.

The minus to the plus that is me.
Appeals to me. This is a good piece of writing without being exceptional. Well layered, well thought out and well described yet I don’t know what it is but really great writing touches me to the core and this is not doing it. Not completely anyway. However having said that, it is certainly one of the better pieces on offering in this comp.

In a way all art is the ethereal mirror of matter, not opposite but part of the connected whole .. it's impossible to separate creation from the creator, much like shadows.
Still like shadows art is more than the sum of origin ..
I suspect that's why it has the ability to communicate beyond the specific confines of language ..
