Sleep is so impossible,
When thoughts of you they crawl-
Creeping up each side of my bed-
Slithering up each side of my wall.
Such a nightmare within itself,
But never do dare to seal
These eyes that bare my desire,
Whilst living a nightmare- that feels so real.
For everything we once had
And everything we once shared,
Memorized inside, perfectly,
Never able to escape my head.
It’s those memories that haunt me-
Every night- never the day.
For the days have distractions,
As nights they feed on prey.
Tears rise each nightfall
As I struggle for sanity,
Craving to let go of our ‘once had’
And awaken from reality-

I really liked this,
especially the final stanza:
'Tears rise each nightfall
As I struggle for sanity,
Craving to let go of our ‘once had’
And awaken from reality-'
Thats just amazing [=

One of the best work I have ever read. This touched me deep. You are one fine writer. I'll have to see some more of your work.
