Daddy are you there?
Can I talk to you?
So much has happened alot has changed. Never mind how long it's been.
I remember certain words, but your voice eludes me. Your picture is engraved
in my mind like pixels on my computer.
I am older now, and you have grandkids. My husband is the opposite of you. He always
is here. I think you know this. Don't worry He truly loves me. He treats me very nice. I think you know this.
There is one thing for sure and that is this. You left this world, and it was your time.
As for me, it was to soon, never enough time. Christmas came that year with my disapproval. Years have passed with some wonderful results. Now with kids of my own
Christmas is an adventure.
So with our chat finally coming to an end. Daddy, Christmas brings good cheer. My stories of you keeps you alive. Your grandkids love you. Oh one more thing Merry Christmas!
Miss you with all my heart.
Love,
Simona Marie
Author notes
On December 23 1985 my dad passed on. I didn't look forward to Christmas for the longest time. Then I met my knight who showed me it was ok to celebrate the holidays. We have two wonderful children and with them I look forward to the holidays.

This touched my heart, Simona Marie.
I'm so glad that you have written this letter to your dad. I have no doubt that your dad is with you every day, and that he is also with our children, watching over all of us from Heaven. I love you, Simona Marie.
Love,
Your husband, Don
