You may curse with man's fowl words
Verbal sounds one can't recant
Yet I have pen and paper, flood
With hatred, anger, sinful thoughts
Just let it out, not on man.
And if I regret a foolish word
I can erase the past clean
No soul ever had to know
The cantations spat from my heart
Instead of it being imprinted
In their minds for the rest of time.
You may curse with man's fowl words
And surely, you have seen your loss.
Broken hearts, broken lives
Words can never be taken back.
But with the pen and paper,
Can such sin be ripped into a thousand pieces
Never for an eye to see.
Please tell me what you think

A brilliant piece yet agen Megumi. i particularly like the idea in the poem of poetry being created from emotions- the emotions captured and made harmless, or destroyed with the paper written on. keep up the good work xx
