Danseuse

It looked so normal, yet so weird
the way things are going
the way we go with it....
It felt so right and possibly not wrong,
for when our feet starts dancing,
and when our hands starts touching,
the world won't stop, letting us go with the flow...

At first I thought that this feeling is silly,
but hey, what the heart thinks are always crappy
well, I'm glad that this happiness dwelling inside me is coming from you,
only thing is, I just hope you feel the same way too...

The tempo descended,
the lights are dimmed
and here we are waltzing on our own place
my head on your chest, your hands on my waist
enveloped in such a wonderful gaze,
then the music stops and we're stuck in here
the wild hunt for began slowing pace

Maybe it's just the music, maybe it's just the lights,
or maybe its just the cold breeze of the night,
I do need your warmth and I know you need mine too
but some things won't change, and so our feelings too
Friends, it's just our way...

Very nice. The way dancing can speak for the heart, and tell of desire and love. Thank you so much for such a fantastic entry, it made me smile.

I like the thoughts this piece makes me think...throws in some memories too...some sweet, some sad, just like your poem, and wonderful mix of both.
Thank you so much for sharing this, and for taking the time to enter my contest,

    Luck.
