I thought of nothing in a moment of aught
and oh the wonders that it taught
that the nothing of everything forms the formless
and letting it go enlightens our awareness
the past is set, veiled from any further action
the present is non existent . . . simply a consequence from the past
the future stretches before . . . a gate, a path set in time . . .
seek the enlightened way, bridge into the state of emptiness
still all thoughts of who, what if and when
allow them to pass, arise as they fall
a meditation into yourself will show the nothing of all
imagine no words, no sounds of the mind
the silence of a soul, as nirvana it finds
because nothing is everything . . . every things nothing
by letting go one can seek that path
in lucid cosmic enlightenment

Good
This is very much a beautiful Buddhist sentiment encompassing the zen philosophy of enlightenment in poetic verse. Imploring your soul to obtain the pleasures of a nothing state is like the lotus blossom blooming giving rebirth to life whilst doing nothing but being a lotus blossom. A well structured poem with a calm reassuring flow peeking with a final plea for acceptance of peace.

Hi, nice poem. Am still enthralled by the first two lines of the last stanza. =D> =D>
