See The Beauty In The Collapse.

[Oh darling]
Oh, how I [hate] to love you.
You have me twisted around your finger
Like a wedding ring.
        [Feel the commitment]?
An amazing touch of pure
(Could you please call it brilliance?)
  Has brought about my demise,
And you’re the flesh, blood, and soul
Of the reason why I keep
F
    a
        l
              l
                  i          d
                    n          o
                        g          w
                                        n.
[Faster].

Every day the rain
Falls down.
[The dank air revolved in my
Chest, waking the feelings I had
Almost forgotten since
  You were here].

I didn’t think I could ever love something
So painful.
But here it goes once more.
You’re inside my chest [again].
I ache for the occasional
          “I love you’s” and
Late nights sitting in the window
Searching for your eyes in the [*sky*].
But that would never happen,
          Babe, it can’t.
  Because things aren’t as special
The second time.

Your blue eyes [sparkled]
When you looked into my eyes.
You never cared how [close to a soap opera]
My comments were.
  [You knew I meant them.]
For some reason you could understand
What I was trying to get through,
                And you always found the
Exact thing to say.
[It was beautiful]

We don’t sing the melody of
[Hip bones clashing and
        Lips brushing]
Anymore...
I wish I could still see how your
Cheek felt when I [accidentally] grazed
It with my finger tips.
Or when your icy eyes seemed
              To calculate every move,
Your hands following my own.

I am a little [caught up]
    In the past,
But I swear that you would be too
If you experienced perfection.
    Every moment in the present
Is just another memory of the
          Past.
Observe the beauty in my collapse
Darling,
Can’t you see?
      Its gorgeous.
For even as we move on to the
  [Future]
We are all

Continuing the past
    With little red ribbons
Trailing behind us...
[As far as the eyes can see].

I [love] to [hate] you.
I [hate] to [love] you.
    What’s the difference?
The sense of [failure] and [destruction]
Has left me cut,  bruised  on the floor,
        Bleeding the blood that your
[Presence, thoughts, and soul] turned
                  Black.
Funny, I still can’t seem to let go.

You are my pain.

Could I be your [dirty little whore] ?

[See the beauty in the collapse.]

Author notes

Don't ask me why, but this option inspired me, even though it doesn't say NUMB anywhere in it.

I have to admit, this seems a little suicidal...

So we could say it is that option also.

1. Suicide
4. Numb
