Impressions

Sands and pebbles
Atlantic green, rolling
soft waves rushing, receding
slight swirls;
smiles fluttering falls
hands, touching fingertips.

Sunlight becomes her golden skin,
clouds trace racing rays across skies
and distance disappears within
laughter and dwindling day.

Arms find soft places, falling glows
touch golden gulls over horizon afar;
water delights bright spun shimmers
sunset is far nicer in her eyes,
as words find evening, and tomorrow.

    That is a dream I'd like to dream every day.
    The sight and sound of an ocean is one of the most - if not the most - soothing thing I can imagine, and you with this poem gives that calm. It's like a caress in the middle of the night at the shore of some beach. Lovely!
    Thanks for the just because, you should do it more
