A solider and a great author I can’t deny
Amongst many he wrote Puppy and I
AA Milne was his name
Winnie the pooh brought him fame
When asked a riddle he would reply Cottleston pie

Having played Pooh-Sticks on many occasions well into my third childhood I really enjoyed this tribute to A A Milne and his poetry. Your final line was a great choice.

Oh pooh sticks
AA Milne is one of my author heroes and Pooh is the best just not the Disney version. When you back in East Sussex wanna meet at 100 Acre Wood and go heffalump hunting? xxxxx
